Thank You!

Election results are in. The ballots in the union leadership election were counted today at the union office under the supervision of Global Election Services. Of the 1165 valid ballots returned, our slate received votes in the 700's and the opposition received votes in the 400's. The complete results have been posted on the union's website at https://www.osaunion.org in the Weekly Newsline for December 29th.

Our entire slate wishes to express our appreciation to those OSA members who participated in this year's election, no matter who they voted for. We look forward to living up to the continued trust you have placed in us as we lead the union forward.

Vote For Croghan's Slate For OSA's Future

The Croghan Slate For OSA’s Future represents experience, integrity, and competence. Among the members of our team, we have more than a century of commitment to and effective work on behalf of the members of the Organization of Staff Analysts. We have built a strong union and have the accomplishments to show for it.

Under the leadership of Bob Croghan and our team, we built the union and made it one of the largest independent local unions representing municipal workers in NY City. On our watch, we have organized more than 50 previously unrepresented titles in New York City government. We have grown OSA from representing 38 workers in 1985 to more than 5,200 active employees and 3,000 retirees today.

We created a successful Welfare Fund that has delivered excellent benefits for members, benefits so attractive that members of other unions, like the Marine Engineers and the EMS and Sanitation Chiefs, have joined our Welfare Fund.

On this website, we are posting materials, including videos from OSA Chair Bob Croghan and other slate members that address some of the points made in literature released by our opposition, as well as statements about our experience and commitment to the union, its members and its future.

Before you vote in the current union election, take the time to review these materials and think carefully about which team has the background, commitment and integrity to build the future of the Organization of Staff Analysts. Then, vote Croghan's Slate For OSA's Future!
